Scandal is a once in a lifetime dog...smart, energetic, loving and a clown even if she is a bit mischievous. At 22 inches and weighing 60 lbs, Scandal is much more than the sum of her parts. She has a ring presence rarely seen anymore, truly loving to show and drawing her energy from the crowd.

Structurally, Scandal is balanced front to rear carrying her topline level and showing the proper tendency to converge coming and going. Her movement is very similar to that of her sire, Hobo...ground covering and effortless. Scandal has a beautiful neck, deep body with well sprung ribs and short loin. She has full dentition with no dropped incisors and carries a rich gold, proper double coat which is short and easy to care for with longer cream furnishings. Her expression is very soft and pleasing with good stop, nice head planes and good depth of muzzle which is framed with properly set on and sized ears. Her tail is always carried straight off her back with merry action.

In terms of temperament, Scandal was a bit naughty as a puppy but always handled corrections with a forgiving attitude and a strong desire to find the right answer and have fun in the process. She has matured into an irreplaceable friend...a pleaser, thinker, avid retriever...a go anywhere and do anything dog. As a producer, her kids tend to have the same sweet, energetic disposition and her "look at me" attitude. She has produced puppies with nice heads, pleasing expressions, deep bodies, good substance and clean movement.

What a joy it has been to have shared my life with Scandal. I only hope I have brought her as much joy and happiness as she has given me.

 

 

Brinkley is a drop dead gorgeous bitch. She has a stunning headpiece with gorgeous dark eyes, perfectly sized and placed ears and a nice deep muzzle. Her front and rear are equally balanced and this little girl can move! She carries a correct, very pretty light gold coat that looks great even when it is full of dirt or whatever she last rolled in. Brinkley is a fun loving girl with lots of attitude and desire to please. She has full dentition, correct scissors bite, ample bone and is solid and pleasing all the way around.

 

Trinket is so much like her dam in personality. She's hands down one of the sweetest dispositions I've seen in a Golden; yet has a little bit of a naughty streak! Although a bit slower maturing, she is a drop dead gorgeous puppy with a very dense double coat, coal black pigment and very strong breed type. She is a very moderate bitch; nicely balanced and has a lovely topline with a tail that flows straight off her back. Trinket has been shown selectively placing in the ribbons at each outing and winning her class under breeder judge, Kay Gosling.
